2009 ADULT U CARS
1. 1980 or later model, front wheel drive only. 3 or 4 cylinder. American or foreign made. SOHC only. 3 valve
heads ok. No 4 valve engines.
2. Completely stock as sold. No homemade or aftermarket parts.
3. No changing suspension's ride height or body modifications.
4. Stock fuel injection or carburetor for that make and model of car.
5. No forced air injection systems.
6. Factory air induction with no modifications.
7. All belts and pumps must remain in place and operational. May remove AC pump.
8. Battery either in stock location or in metal box if moved to an approved place.
9. Fuel cell recommended. Gas only. Fuel line either under the car or inside protective tubing.
10. OEM tires and wheels only.
11. May replace right front wheels studs to larger, safer size.
12. All suspension must remain in configuration, stock location.
13. Rear seats must be removed and steel enclosure added to protect driver in case of fire.
14. Full cage with a minimum of four bars in driver door and three bars in passenger door with 3/16" plate welded to
outside of bars inside of door. At least 1/4" thick 3" x 3" steel plate at each mount to floor. Full cage is four points,
but a six point roll cage is recommended. Forward and rearward bracing recommended.
15. Racing type, removable steering wheel may be used.
16. Minimum weight 2000 lbs. with driver after race, with no lightening done to race car to reduce weight.
